Tabriz rugs come from the Tabriz region of Iran. This area is one of the foremost producers of Persian Rugs, and has been a center of the rug weaving community since the 19th century. The weavers in Tabriz are some of the most skilled producers of quality Persian rugs. The design is usually a floral design, created with incredible precision. Medallion and corner designs are also quite popular.
